Equestricon is a one-of-a-kind event for the horse racing community that began in Saratoga in 2017. It was the first racing convention of its kind; bringing together industry insiders, casual fans, and everyone in-between for panels, workshops, tours, signings, parties and so much more. Next Up: Louisville, October 29-30, 2018 during Breeders' Cup Week!
2018 Rack Card & Iconography
For Equestricon's second annual event in October 2018, they wanted a fresh, young and fun look that brought in the purple of the Breeders' Cup logo and an autumn color palette. We repurposed last years icon's by adding new colors, and incorporated the new fresh and young festival look to give a quick snapshot of the event.
Insider Pass Logo
This year's Equestricon will be going on the same time as the Breeders' Cup at Churchill Downs and this special pass will get you into all the VIP events and seating at both events. We paired the Breeders' Cup purple and logo with Equestricon typefaces to create this VIP experience logo.
2017 Infographic + Inconography
This infographic and rack card was the very first project we worked on with Equestricon. They approached us with a distinct goal: to somehow convey everything available to ticket holders during this 3-day extravaganza. With so many experiences and events, they determined an infographic would be the best way to show off the myriad attractions at a glance. "Do you guys create custom icons?", they asked. "We sure do!", was our resounding response. Custom illustration is one of our bread-and-butter services and we jump at every chance to include it in a project. We kept the artwork within the existing Equestricon brand (which is killer) and color palette. We had so much fun creating these icons and the overall infographic. Thanks to Dan, Kathryn and everyone else on the Equestricon team, and a special shout out to Snyder Printer for the A+ print job on these. Lookin' real sharp!
To create a sponsorship package for their 2018 event, we reused the custom icons we created for the infographic and pulled in the Breeders' Cup purple.
